The challenge in designing the therapy and learning clinic for Amirim Center – a multidisciplinary hub for diagnosis, therapy, coaching, and learning – was to transform a former kindergarten into a professional, warm, and precise therapeutic space tailored for therapists, parents, and children alike.
Through a comprehensive renovation, we reimagined the existing structure to fit the functional and emotional needs of therapy and training – supporting both children and adults in an inviting, calm environment.
Planning the Interior Layout
The main challenge was to create a natural flow between the spaces, suitable for therapeutic dynamics that are personal, calm, and supportive.
The planning included:
Relocating the kitchen and restrooms to free up the main activity area.
Dividing the space into individual and group therapy rooms with intimacy and privacy.
Designing a welcoming reception and waiting area to help patients and parents relax from the very first step.
Interior Design Highlights
Flooring
A natural wood-tone parquet was chosen, adding warmth and a sense of security – essential in a therapeutic environment.
Lighting
A soft balance of general linear lighting and hanging fixtures at the reception area, providing both functionality and homely warmth.
Color Palette
Neutral stone shades with bamboo touches, enriched with subtle color accents in art and accessories, creating a calm and inviting composition.
Custom Furniture
Each therapy room was designed according to the therapist’s methods and needs – from seating arrangements to shelving heights and natural wood textures.

The result is a clinic that doesn’t strive to impress, but to provide genuine comfort. A space that naturally supports connection between therapist and patient, empowering the therapeutic process.
