Out of the Box: Finance Office Interior Design for Barak Finance by Spot Design

Barak Finance opens the door to the future with a workspace that blends design, strategy, and humanity.
With Spot Design Studio at the helm, the company’s new space is a benchmark in finance office interior design — meticulously crafted to make employees feel at home while supporting productivity, transparency, and innovation.

When Barak Finance — one of Israel’s leading real estate, insurance, and finance agencies — decided to redesign its offices, it wasn’t just aiming for a visual upgrade. It wanted to create an experience.

A space that sparks imagination, encourages creativity, and nurtures a sense of belonging. To achieve that, Spot Design Studio, led by designers Fanny Barak and Orit Bender, was brought on board. With years of expertise in interior architecture for offices and companies of all sizes, they were the perfect fit.

How Spot Design Reinvented Finance Office Interior Design

Spot Design is a trailblazing studio specializing in interior design for corporate offices, startups, operations centers, and commercial spaces. What sets it apart is its ability to deeply understand the client’s needs — not just functional, but emotional, organizational, and human — and translate them into a polished design language.

Fanny and Orit’s team is known for its professional, thoughtful approach. Every project begins with deep research, a smart functional layout, and a design that feels purposeful — never gimmicky. In the case of Barak Finance, they didn’t just design an office — they shaped a work culture.

The Full Journey: From the Entrance to the Terrace

From the moment you enter the office, the vision is clear. It starts with a modern fitness room, featuring soft LED lighting, advanced equipment, a TV, and a shower for employees. It’s not just a convenience — it’s a statement: employees matter, and their well-being comes first.

Right after that, employees and visitors encounter a clean, refined reception area with the company’s brand prominently displayed on the wall, highlighted by hidden lighting. This space leads into the main public area, which features a deep denim blue open kitchen, large round dining tables, and colorful upholstered chairs.

Nearby is a cozy lounge-style seating area in shades of gray and mustard. Next to the sofas, a custom-designed feature wall stands out — clad in a unique grooved stone finish. A bold natural wood frame encloses a background painted in strong olive green, and open shelving with hidden LED lighting adds both utility and style.

This relaxation and social zone is complete with a projector for social events, a PlayStation station, and an ice cream freezer — blending luxury with fun, formality with the comfort of home.

Small Meeting Rooms – Inspiration in Every Corner

The interior design studio Spot Design responded to the requests of Barak Finance’s management for small, more personal meeting rooms suited for one-on-one sales meetings and smaller team discussions.

Near the reception area, the intimate meeting rooms were placed — each one designed with a distinct color scheme using wall decals: olive green, blue, dusty pink, and mustard. Each wall features an inspirational quote encouraging positive thinking, while the glass walls are decorated with delicate black decals that provide privacy without closing off the space.

This is where one of Spot Design’s greatest strengths becomes clear: the creation of a multi-layered experience, where every detail conveys meaning.

Each meeting room includes a round table — a deliberate design choice to promote closeness and avoid sharp edges that can create tension in the space.

The chosen color palette brings optimism, creativity, inspiration, and joy into the rooms. These emotions help evoke a sense of confidence, calm, peace, and trust for both employees and potential clients.

The overall atmosphere is less formal and more relaxed and personal, thanks to the combination of materials, colors, shapes, and motivational quotes.

Glass Partitions as Space Dividers

Using glass partitions to divide spaces was a conscious decision made by the company leadership together with Spot Design, the interior studio for office and commercial spaces. The thinking behind this choice centered on the theme of transparency — a value the company wishes to project. Transparency builds trust and credibility with employees and clients alike. It’s also a core aspect of the company’s organizational culture.

Wall and Glass Decals as a Core Office Design Concept

The decals selected for the glass partitions were intentionally designed in black, in collaboration with a graphic designer, to allow full creative freedom with the rest of the color palette in the space.

The design of the decals is fluid and cohesive — they don’t completely obscure the rooms or the people inside, preserving the intended transparency while adding a unique and stylish flair to the overall office aesthetic.

The wall decals also inject a cheerful splash of color into different rooms, contributing to a fun, upbeat atmosphere throughout the workspace.

Main Conference Room – Smart Design for Large Meetings

Further inside the office, the main conference room is located, centered around a unique oval-shaped “eye” table.

When closed, the table forms a symbolic eye shape that conveys focus, vision, and leadership. When more seating is needed, the two halves open and stretch outward, creating a central walkway that allows for movement, conversation, and presentations. Behind the table, long benches are installed along the wall — a design and functional solution that allows for dozens of participants during events, presentations, and executive meetings. This is a dynamic space, adaptable to various group sizes and scenarios.

The lighting design allows for different atmospheres as needed. Linear lighting provides strong, general illumination ideal for standard meetings. Wall sconces were added on a separate switch to create a softer, more relaxed ambiance — ideal for watching presentations on the screen.

The walls are painted a light gray, a color that promotes clear, rational thinking. It gives the space a calm, formal, and conservative tone, perfectly suited for this type of room.

Functionally, the room is equipped with a large smart TV and customized video conferencing gear. All cables and wiring were meticulously hidden to maintain a clean, modern, and aesthetic design line.

The Open Space – Solving an Electrical Challenge with Style

On the other side of the corridor lies the open space, designed for daily work. A great deal of thought was invested here, especially in solving one of the project’s biggest challenges: managing electrical infrastructure across dozens of open workstations without causing visual clutter.

The chosen solution was both smart and aesthetic: three decorative columns placed at the end of each desk row house all electrical lines and structural elements. This provided a visually pleasing division while keeping the space organized, accessible, and technically efficient.

Acoustic Solutions

To reduce noise in the open space, the entire area is carpeted with acoustic material, absorbing sound and enabling employees to concentrate even in a busy environment.

As an additional solution, the walls were covered with asymmetrical geometric wooden panels — adding both acoustic functionality and a unique decorative design.

The call center, located adjacent to the open space but physically separated, features architectural and interior design solutions for privacy and focus. The layout includes low partitions at each station, providing individual privacy while still allowing the shift manager to maintain eye contact and supervision from their glass-walled office.

Every Detail Considered: Kitchenettes, Executive Rooms, and a New York-Style Booth

A secondary kitchenette is located further in the office for employees working at the far end, so they don’t have to walk far to get coffee or heat food.

Executive rooms are carefully designed and divided into zones: a work area, a guest area, and a storage/tech zone.

Every detail is customized — desks in shades of gray and black were designed to suit each executive’s specific needs. The carpentry includes curved corners and uniquely shaped table legs. Only premium materials were used, such as advanced black nano-coatings, which express dominance and control. Guest areas are styled with warm materials — sofas, armchairs, and pillows in shades of cream, gray, and black that project elegance, calm, and luxury.

Each office includes a full-length wall unit for storage, decoration, a TV, and even a mini wine and liquor fridge for entertaining.

One of the biggest surprises in the office is a BOOTH room, inspired by an American diner. With black-and-white checkered flooring, red leather benches, world clock decor, and a touch of greenery — this intimate space invites casual conversation, collaboration, and a refreshing break from routine.

Open-Air Terrace – Events, Ping Pong, and Company Culture

The office ends with a spacious outdoor terrace used for hosting events, team parties, corporate evenings, business meetings — or just catching some sun with coffee. There’s also a barbecue station, ping pong table, and cozy seating areas blending leisure with work.
